At the time Presley's karate name was "Panther" which he later changed to "Tiger." Prior to gifting the guitar, it had been used by Presley on stage and at his home. Rhee had the guitar on display at his martial arts studio for many years. No other guitars are known to have been signed by Presley. Accompanied by letters of authenticity from Joe Esposito and Kang Rhee and a video showing Kang Rhee discussing how Elvis came to give him this guitar.
